Liferay recently celebrated more than a decade of its operations and held a launch event including a roadshow in the Middle East. Our CEO, Shahid Mansuri attended the event to network with the company officials and the stakeholders.
This was a great opportunity to have a closer look at what Liferay as a platform offers and how we can leverage that to offer custom-made solutions to enterprises.
Liferay chose the Middle East as the next logical place to expand by opening a branch there because as per the latest Mckinsey report on the Digital trends in the Middle East region, the smartphone penetration in the region is more than 100 percent.
Even the social media adoption is more than 70 percent, which is even higher than the United States; but businesses and the Government are yet to fully utilize this opportunity of a digitally developed market.
Liferay promises to bridge this digital gap by providing innovative solutions to enterprises and governments.
