The morning of the 72nd Independence Day was special for all, as our hearts were filled with the feeling of gratitude towards the hero who gave us freedom. Moreover, this day had a lot to offer. The Peerbits family had decided to go on annual picnic at Palm Green Club, Bareja.
This year has been a milestone for Peerbits; we have performed exceptionally well. The celebration for this was around the corner, and what could have been a better day to celebrate our success than on the day we got independence.
We had chosen Palm Green Club as our venue, which is well known for its inexplicable hospitality and variety of exciting leisure facilities. All the members of Peerbits family reached at resort on time.
The day started with all singing our National Anthem. Our hearts and souls were thrilled and goosebumps were all over the body combined with the feeling of nostalgia as we remembered our childhood’s school assembly.
After the national anthem we all took breakfast which energized our body for all the fun that the day was going to offer. After breakfast it was the time for swimming. All the boys jumped off to swimming pool.
Few were flaunting their swimming skills while the rest were struggling to keep up in the cold blue water. After the boys were done it was the girls’ turn to enjoy the swimming pool.
Once the swimming session was over for both boys and girls, we moved for different water rides. We enjoyed all the rides which aggravated our adrenaline; it was simply a mind-blowing experience.
After all the fun in water we went to ground for some outdoor sports. Few of the guys took bat and bowl and started playing the most popular sport of the country. While, the others tried something new like Lawn Tennis.
However, none of them could serve the ball properly or could smash a forehand or a backhand, but it was fun to see all of them trying and struggling at a new sport. Some tried Football, and the Messis and Ronaldos of Peerbits exhibited their dribbling, dodging, and shooting skills.
After burning lot of calories we all were hungry. So well decided to have lunch. Food at Palm Green Club is one of their USPs, and they didn’t disappoint.
After the delicious lunch we went towards the gaming zone. Gaming Zone was such a treat, as there were many games to play. We all played Pool, Table Tennis, Carrom, and Air Hockey.
The ones who were pro at these games were killing it. Moreover, they also taught the amateurs about the rules and nuances of the game.
After having a go at the indoor games, it was time for the evening snack and HI-Tea. Tea was accompanied by some banter and light humour.
After we all finished with the tea we went to the theatre to watch Akshay Kumar’s latest movie “Gold”. As its name, it was a Gold of a movie and we thoroughly enjoyed Indian Hockey Team’s struggle to win the Gold.
The day was adding life long memories and we called it a day and went to our homes taking all those priceless moments which will be cherished for ages to come.
