On 7th March 2020, the Peerbits family decided to go on a one-day picnic at Aarohi Starz Club. All the members were highly excited in the anticipation of what this day had to offer. The day started with all of us gathering for a breakfast where we all had refreshments which included tea, coffee, and other delicious breakfast meals.
After completing breakfast we all gathered in the conference room for the upcoming activities.
The conference hall
After reaching the conference hall, we all occupied our seats and were eagerly waiting for what was about to come. Our HR team which included Sujata Sagathiya and Sadik Tasia moderated the whole session along with Aaquil Khan, who was the host for the event.
Aaquil Khan set the tone for the event with his Shayaris. Many of the shayaris were his own creation in which he had woven magical Urdu words like a veteran shaayar. The audience enjoyed his shayaris a lot and reciprocated with loud applauses.
The engagement activity kicked-off with the felicitation of all the new joiners of Peerbits.
Few words from the CEO
After this, Mr. Mansuri, the CEO of Peerbits came to deliver a speech on Peerbits’ journey. In his speech, he mentioned how Peerbits was formed. He also gave a special thanks to all those who were present there from the very beginning. He presented a quick glimpse of what Peerbits did in the past 8 and a half years along with presenting the future goals and objectives of the company.
But most importantly he emphasized the fact that the driving force in the future will be of new experiences and creativity instead of plain knowledge. He urged all the employees to learn new things which can play a pivotal role in their own evolution. He urged all to step out of their comfort zone and try taking up new challenges. Later on, he explained that with this approach all can clearly see the massive difference in their skill set as compared to that of the last year.
After the completion of Mr. Mansuri’s speech, it was now time for some entertaining performances. There were solo as well as group performances lined up for it.
Aabra ka daabra
The first up was Sohel Vohra who went to the stage to perform a few magic tricks. First, he showed few magic tricks with maths. He took the help of a white-board and a volunteer from the audience to perform his magic trick. After that, he went for the main act in which he made a card float in the air. The whole audience was bamboozled by this card levitation illusion trick.
Lights, camera, action
The next performance was of a skit which was performed by nine of the very talented Peerbits’ employees. The skit took a funny take on how IT organizations work. The acting of all the employees accompanied by peppy Bollywood tracks and dialogues made it even more hilarious. By the time skit ended, all the people in the audience had burst into laughter and huge roars of cheer.
The stand-up comedy
Next up was a stand-up comedy performance by Bhavyadeep Singh Rathod. His insightful, witty and funny thoughts on names, school teachers, HRs, Bollywood movies, and TV ads garnered a lot of giggles, chuckles, whistles, howls, and roars.
The girl power
The international women’s day was around the corner and the next performance was about the same. The girls of Peerbits did a contemporary dance performance on a very famous poem. The performance displayed the perfect blend of grace and power.
And the award goes to….
The HR department had planned an award ceremony in which different employees were awarded based on their unique habits, skills, and in some cases even flaws. Names of some of the awards are as follows:

- Mr. Busy
- Catchy Chatty
- The Noisy Typist
- The Sleepy Head
- Mr. Automation
- Man in White

Bon Appetit
After some wonderful performances, we all headed for lunch. All the Peerbits’ member satiated their hunger with a huge variety of starters, main course, and desserts.
Sports & games
After lunch, all of us went to play different sports both outdoor and indoor. Few people started off with volleyball whereas some decided to play a game of chess. Some perfected their smash and drop shot in the badminton court while the others decided to play the game of table tennis.
Billiards and Snooker enthusiasts could also be seen glued to the pool table room. And at last, how could you not see people playing cricket?
Swim & Fun
After playing a bunch of sports, many of the employees dived into the swimming pool. People who knew how to swim showed their swimming skills like backstroke, chest stoke, and freestyle swimming. At the same time, some other people were busy recording their slow-motion videos of fancy diving into the pool.
High-tea
After a lot of physical activity, most of us were exhausted and wanted a much-needed break which we got in the form of a High-tea. All the employees enjoyed tea and coffee with some evening snacks.
Tug-of-war
After the high-tea, all the Peerbits’ members gathered in the park for the last activity of the evening. It was time for some tug-of-war. Two teams were divided in a jiffy and the game began.
It turned out to be a close match as both teams were applying every ounce of their energy to pull the rope in their direction. However, at last, one team perished and the other won.
Photo session
After completing the last activity, we all went to explore some beautiful scenery at the resort. It was the time of the evening, the sun was about to set and no one wanted to miss the opportunity to click some awesome pictures for themselves.
Many people clicked their pictures with utmost ease while some others struggled big time to find the perfect pose. Many people took selfies while others took a groupfie.
And that’s how it ended!
The sun-set marked the end of the photo session and also the day which had added so much to all of our lives. We all at Peerbits will cherish the memories of this day for many years to come.
