The Challenges

  • Existing system with undefined structure without non-technical documentation.
  • Confusing user role requirements and outdated design layout.
  • Layouts and design need significant enhancements, including mobile-friendliness. Sign-up flow and payment tracking require attention.
  • Payment information is not stored in the database, making tracking upgrades difficult.
  • New customizable community landing pages were created due to client feedback
  • Login and messaging sections require improvement.
  • Roles and permissions are confusing and need simplification
  • Missing basic features, such as profile and setting pages. System privacy settings are insufficient.

The Solution

  • Converted project functionalities into visualization form and prepared a requirement list.
  • Established basic rules for owners, admins, and members.
  • Redesigned all pages and popups for mobile compatibility and user-friendliness.
  • Stored payment details, payment dates, and upgrade information in the database for tracking.
  • Created new landing pages for communities based on client feedback and requirements.
  • Made login, forgot password, sign up, and invite member pages more user-friendly.
  • Set up automatic redirection to the after-login page on each visit until cookies are cleared.
  • Planned to redesign the Role and Permission Module to connect permissions with roles, which will be connected to users.
  • Created profile and settings pages to display and allow editing of user details.
  • Enabled direct joining of public groups and sent private group requests to admins.
